Our Caterer...

We met today with Colleen of Crossroads Catering to go over plans for our reception. She was extremely helpful and had a great personality. You can tell she really likes what she does and, from what we've seen, she's good at it. There are many choices we have to make as far as the menu goes, but it'll be fun to decide.

Reception Site...

We have decided to have the Reception at Ty's Parents house. They have such a beautiful home and surroundings, that we both thought that it would make for a beautiful reception!

The Dress...

After searching for hours online for the perfect dress, I finally found it! David's Bridal had a handful of dresses that I wanted to try on... I tried on a couple that I wasn't sure if I would like or not, and a few that I kinda liked. But this one- just looking at it in the picture- I knew it was the one! It gathers on the left side, and crosses down across the bottom on the front. It is simple, yet it looks so elegant on!

I love it!

Ceremony Site...

Well, we booked the ceremony site! After searching long and hard for something that we both liked and was "affordable," we found the Japanese Gardens. And we booked it! Manito Park doesn't open the Japanese Gardens until April 1st, so we had to go by the memories that we remembered from last year- we took a shot in the dark! We went up on the 1st when the finally opened, and guess what... it was covered in SNOW! We could see what the basic layout of the space was, but there wasn't that spring/summer feel to it yet. :C
